After a long successful career in commercial interior design I decided to retired. My husband and I moved from the San Francisco Bay Area to a small mountain town. What had been a childhood dream of mountain life had become a reality. Living in an artistic community has provided great opportunities for creative expression.

I always said to my husband “When I retire I want to study watercolor painting.” But, that was not all, I had other passions that included making beaded jewelry and quilting. Finding the perfect watercolor teacher and the local quilt guild with it’s great classes, were my starting points for a new creative journey.

I am a self taught beaded jewelry designer. I continue to pursue this on my own. I hike, kayak and collect rocks. As you look at my work it becomes apparent how those activities, along with painting quilting and beading, all combine to influence what I create.
